Descent profile that levels the step between a rubber floor and the surrounding surface

Where a rubber floor ends, its full thickness stands as an open step. The descent profile covers it: one side rests on the tile, the other tapers down to the subfloor, so the two surfaces meet without an edge to trip over or to catch a trolley wheel. It is also what gives the boundary between two different floors a finished line.

Each length is 2,70 m and is chosen to match the thickness of the floor — 8, 10, 15 or 20 mm; the profile widens with the thickness, from 19 to 39 mm. Polished stainless steel reflects like a mirror, satin stainless steel has a brushed, matt surface. Both are equally durable; the choice is a visual one.
