Keiser A300 Seated Calf
Originally designed for world record holders Willie Banks (triple jump) and Mike Powell (long jump), this calf machine uses unilateral movement to build balanced explosive lower-leg power. It pre-loads automatically and adjusts for leg length, and the foot pad isolates rotation around the ankle for a full range of motion.
The foot is the body's contact with the ground, and the calves have to transfer all the power produced into it. Weak calves are like driving a car on flat tyres - the calf matters at every level of performance, from the oldest to the elite athlete.
Key benefits
- Unilateral movement - each limb can be trained symmetrically
- Increased resistance range for more intense functional workouts
- Smooth Keiser Dynamic Variable Resistance
- Fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of users
- Bilateral movement for body symmetry training
- Large digital display with resistance and counted repetitions
Keiser Dynamic Variable Resistance
Keiser's Dynamic Variable Resistance is designed to provide a smooth, consistent force curve at any training speed. Each machine has its own resistance curve, tuned for the muscles used in that particular exercise. For the user it means training at maximum efficiency at whatever speed they work.
