Keiser A400 Seated Calf
The A400 Seated Calf was built to develop explosive lower-leg power - originally for world record holders Willie Banks (triple jump) and Mike Powell (long jump). The unilateral movement lets each leg work independently, giving balanced strength development.
The machine pre-loads automatically and adjusts for leg length. Low-inertia pneumatic resistance runs smoothly and under control and reduces shock loading on the joints. The A400 technology tracks performance in real time and syncs with the Keiser Metrics App.
Key benefits
- Unilateral movement - each limb can be trained symmetrically
- Increased resistance range for more intense functional workouts
- Smooth Keiser Dynamic Variable Resistance
- Fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of users
- Bilateral movement for body symmetry training
- Large digital display with resistance and counted repetitions
Keiser Dynamic Variable Resistance
Keiser's Dynamic Variable Resistance is designed to provide a smooth, consistent force curve at any training speed. Each machine has its own resistance curve, tuned for the muscles used in that particular exercise. For the user it means training at maximum efficiency at whatever speed they work.
